28 Jan BioPAL – BIOMASS Product Algorithm Laboratory

The BIOMASS Product Algorithm Laboratory (BioPAL) is an open-source scientific computing project supporting the development of ESA’s BIOMASS mission algorithms. It is the first time that an official ESA Earth Explorer is supported by an open-source project. BioPAL includes part of Aresys Biomass team and representatives of several european research institutions, check out the biopal website!
In late April 2021 BioPAL was officially released on GitHub. In October it was also featured on the European Commission collaborative platform Joinup, a common venue to share and reuse IT solutions and good practices, facilitate communication and collaboration on IT projects across Europe, check it out HERE!
